Este libro se esfuerza por promover la exploración conjunta del pensamiento transdisciplinario y con ello, una reflexión acerca de su aplicación metodológica e investigativa. Para ello, integra saberes y experiencias reflexivas, las cuales posibilitan pensar académicamente la investigación en ciencias sociales desde un escenario de transdisciplinariedad. Así, se plantea que el diálogo de saberes, como aptitud e intensión dialógica, a la vez que la transdisciplinariedad, a modo de horizonte epistémico deconstructivo, estrategia investigativa y método, se constituyan en vías o ejes que articulen al contexto la complejidad per se de los fenómenos investigados. En dicho espacio, es posible reconocer desde una mirada compleja marcos epistémicos comunes, la relación entre transdisciplina y metodología de la investigacion, campos relacionales del conocimiento, el cuestionamiento a la ciencia moderna y sus métodos, y la importancia de la relación entre Bioética y transdisciplinariedad, tópicos de amplio desarrollo a lo largo de este texto. En aras de revelar nuevos itinerarios y estrategias investigativas aplicables a las ciencias sociales, se propone la necesidad de generar redes de reflexiones y experiencias investigativas que faciliten encuentros, desencuentros y reorganizaciones epistémicas y metodológicas, todas ellas con la capacidad de reconocer y dar cabida a nuevos flujos y discusiones en torno a los desafíos que la investigación integrativa despliega en las ciencias sociales.
