Sinkende Umfragewerte und wachsender Widerstand gegen zentrale Reformprojekte, Wahlverluste der Demokraten bei wichtigen Senats- und Gouverneurswahlen und eine medienwirksame oppositionelle Rechte deuten auf eine schwindende Unterstützung des Präsidenten hin.
