One of the components of a modern teaching qualification is the ability to initiate and implement research into pedagogical practice, provide scientific ways of evaluating the educational process and solving problems, improve educational practice and innovate in the educational process. It is important that, from the first grade onwards, educators organise the educational process on the basis of students' experiences, taking into account their individual abilities, needs and dispositions. The application of action research in the educational process makes it possible to put this into practice.The volume identifies the theoretical concept of action research and describes empirical experiences that show in which contexts action research can be chosen as a way of solving problems. The authors believe that this book could mobilise school communities and researchers to collaborate in effectively addressing problems in educational practice and responding to global challenges.
