cryptozoology (n.) The search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is unsubstantiated or in dispute, such as Sasquatch, the Loch Ness Monster, fish with human hands, the Yeti, the Thunderbird, the Ape-Man Monster of Tennessee, and the 'Thing' at Dutchman's Rig. For three decades, when American men had questions about the Yeti, the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and other weird beasts from the strange world of cryptozoology, they found answers in the hard-hitting pages of men's adventure magazines. Now, collected here for the first time ever, are samples of sensational period reporting and wild, "true" accounts of savage, fist-to-claw duels between man and Sasquatch, man and fishman, man and monster! Plus full-color vintage pulp artwork that accompanied the stories' original publication, rare archival discoveries, men's pulp history, expert analysis, cryptid-by-cryptid commentary, and much, much more. This latest installment in the Men's Adventure Library is edited by Robert Deis of MensPulpMags.com, David Coleman (THE BIGFOOT FILMOGRAPHY) and Wyatt Doyle (STOP REQUESTED), and includes contributions from luminaries in the field such as Sir Arthur C. Clarke, John Keel, and many others. CRYPTOZOOLOGY ANTHOLOGY is packed with 13 biting tales of creatures notorious and obscure. Don't leave civilization without it! (Please note: the deluxe hardcover edition includes bonus material exclusive to that edition, including an additional wild story rescued from obscurity.)

The UN is often questioned about its ongoing relevance and overall effectiveness in the 21st century, particularly in its involvement with educational policy and co-operation around the globe. This ground-breaking book examines the four key agencies within the UN system that share the vital role of addressing educational futures: UNESCO, the World Bank, UNICEF and UNDP.
As the core of educational multilateralism, these agencies powerfully reflect the UN''s historic grounding in peace, human rights and economic development. The history of each agency''s commitment to education is explored with critical detachment, with particular attention paid to the post-Cold War period, during which each agency has needed to re-think the impact of globalisation on both its modes of operation as well as the content of its education policies. Just as education policy itself has been subject to the impact of globalisation, so to has each agency had to adapt at a time when not only education but also their own mandates have been thrown open to question.
This timely book will be essential reading for all those working with and for UN agencies, foreign aid workers and the development co-operation industry. At a time when education policies, budgets and strategies appear wide open to profound changes, this book will provide a much-needed roadmap to the future.

Every parent''s goal is to raise happy, healthy children who can thrive and flourish whatever the challenges faced along the way. In The Thriving Family, leading psychologist David Coleman shares his unique vision to show us how.Outlining his core principles of ''kind but firm'' parenting, he reveals how powerful tools such as empathy, positive reinforcement and setting successful boundaries can lead to a loving, supportive and calm home environment that allows every member to thrive.Drawing from his vast experience working with families, he looks at new ways to approach common issues, including adapting to parenthood; dealing with bullying, drugs and alcohol; creating healthy social networks online and in real life; dealing with separation and loss; enhancing sibling harmony and reducing rivalry; thriving when your children move on.Whatever the situation or challenge, The Thriving Family empowers parents to create the best future for their children, and encourages children to step into it with joy and confidence.

As the title rhythmically indicates, the 1st book of poetry by David D.C. Coleman II. The poems contained therein are a collage of much of the musing and writings that D.C. has accumulated over the past couple of years. The theme to this book is based mainly off of observation and social commentary on the general ills of society from the eyes of a young Black (African, indigenous, autochthonous or whatever name or categorization suits you to identify by) adult. Given to the changing world and circumstances of our times, especially for a lot of us Black Millennials finding ourselves in a world. A constant flux where over the course of 20 plus years have gone through 9/11, a financial meltdown crisis in 2007 and to crown it all off a viral epidemic with a questionable name, we are being faced with a lot, all this before some of us have even reached the age of 40. Many of the advice and guidance of our parents and/or elders seem to be at times outmoded and outdated. That we find ourselves being pushed into being adaptable and change with the times, breaking old rules and rewriting them no matter how messy the growth process is.
These collections of poems are listed here as a way to capture over the past decade the developing mindset of someone coming of age trying to make sense of this rapidly changing society that seems to be nearly always in a state of flux and on hyper drive. And at the same time, a society that is built on a platform that is showing its age, having been built by those of generations past that is at times severely out of touch and at odds with the needs of the younger generation of today. The subject matter of these poems in general is social commentary on the problems of race, class, politics, social engineering, social isolation, economical hardships and relationships. I hope that this collection of poems will help to inspire and enlighten you in some way to move forward, stay motivated and achieve your vision and dreams.
