Complete maternity care from fertility through the postnatal period Maternity care spans a continuum that most references cover only in segments, leaving clinicians to consult multiple texts. Conception to Birth and Beyond: A Guide to Maternity Care unifies fertility, antenatal care, labour and birth, and postnatal care in a single volume. Contributors from midwifery, obstetrics, neonatology, anaesthesiology, psychiatry, and general practice across multiple countries provide multidisciplinary, internationally relevant coverage. Chapters reflect contemporary practice with coverage of non-traditional families, transgender care, domestic violence, and antenatal and neonatal vaccination. Dedicated sections address human factors, patient safety, and learning from adverse outcomes. Patient advocates contribute as authors, grounding clinical guidance in lived experience. Readers will also find: Coverage of subfertility diagnosis including tubal, ovulatory, male factor, and anatomical causes as well as unexplained infertilityDetailed review of assisted conception steps alongside the ethical and moral implications of fertility treatment decisionsGuidance on normal and pathological labour processes, assisted birth, caesarean birth, and analgesia options during labourPostnatal chapters addressing puerperal adaptation, maternal infection, perinatal psychiatry, infant feeding, and return to working lifeInternational perspectives on maternity and paternity leave policies reflecting care standards in both high-income and lower-income settingsDesigned for medical, midwifery, and nursing students as well as trainees and practitioners in obstetrics, anaesthesiology, general practice, paediatrics, and lactation consultancy, this book delivers the full-spectrum maternity reference needed for safe, shared decision-making across clinical settings worldwide.

Reunited with his adult son while awaiting a liver transplant, becoming a famous sperm donor (to Melissa Etheridge and Julie Cypher), coming back from a crippling motorcycle accident, losing his house in an earthquake, and through it all making beautiful music, David Crosby once again reveals all with self-skewering humor and honesty—as only he can. A true rock-and-roll survivor, David Crosby has not slowed down since his New York Times bestselling memoir Long Time Gone. Life continues to be full of amazing ups and downs for the founding member of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. “A fascinating life worthy of a sequel.”—Entertainment Weekly

A new large-format 400-page collectible art book curated by the band’s three surviving founding members. When the Byrds released “Mr. Tambourine Man” in 1965, they introduced Bob Dylan’s songs to a new audience and launched a career that would make them among the most influential rock bands of all time. With their unmistakable harmonies and Roger McGuinn’s innovative 12-string Rickenbacker guitar, the Byrds never stopped experimenting. They incorporated folk, country, and jazz, influences into a fresh blend that helped define an era. “And not to be too shallow,” Tom Petty once wrote, “but they also were just the best-dressed band around. They had those great clothes and hairdos.” Now the band’s three surviving founding members—Roger McGuinn, Chris Hillman, and David Crosby—have come together to present The Byrds: 1964-1967, a large format tabletop book that offers a unique visual history of the group. Featuring more than 500 images from legendary photographers such as Henry Diltz, Barry Feinstein, Curt Gunther, Jim Marshall, Linda McCartney, Tom Gundelfinger O’Neal, and Guy Webster, the book also includes a detailed oral history from McGuinn, Hillman, and Crosby.
