Journey along with Stephunos and his friends as they continue to explore their new home on Naxos Island. The mystical creatures of legend are now part of Stephunos'' everyday life. A life that could only be described as hectic since his twelfth birthday nearly three months ago is finally beginning to return to some degree of normalcy. Stephunos has to take on new responsibilities as he and his friends are allowed to explore the strange green caves they had discovered. To his great pleasure, and against his little brother''s wishes, school is beginning. Besides their normal school lessons, they will continue their lessons with Dragos, the talking dragon, and start some new lessons with other unique telepathic animals. Life seems peaceful.

Unbeknownst to them the Dark Mages, having been defeated in their attempt to destroy the people of Naxos Island, have other plans. The leader of the Dark Mages'', Cosmin, anger grows as he sets his plans of conquest into motion. He is determined to exterminate the people and creatures of Naxos Island by any means. Fed by his ever-increasing anger, Cosmin will not rest until he controls the entire planet. War is on the horizon!

"What mage?" Aheam immediately questioned."Me, what do you want with me?" Ariston whimpered."I have questions!" the red dragon Zaira replied."After we discuss the terms with the Earl, and while Aheam looks for the scepter, you may talk to Ariston in my presence!" Tibalt firmly insisted. Tibalt had heard of the red dragons'' deep hatred for mages and he had grown fond of Ariston."Ariston''s a mage?" Aheam stated in shock. Ariston had slain a dragon and had performed admirably as a squire for Tibalt, it was turning Aheam''s idea of mages upside down. He actually liked Ariston.

Having lost his parents at a very young age and having his elder sister ripped away from him by the sinister Dark Mages might make anyone lose hope. But the twelve-year-old Ariston isn''t just anyone. Sure living day to day isn''t easy, but he and his two best friends, Elina and Faustus, make do. Their courage, perseverance, and loyalty inspire new friendships-honorable men including the Great Knight of Adar and the mage Pilan the All Powerful. Perhaps it is possible to rescue Ariston''s sister from the clutches of the Dark Mages. After all great friendships lead to great deeds!

Again, Stephunos is confronted with reality-a reality that six months ago was inconceivable. New Worlds! People from other planets! Stephunos again has a secret.

It''s not the first secret that the twelve-year-old Stephunos has had to keep. Now that he lives on Naxos, the strange island where intelligent dragons, unicorns, and other mystical creatures have been rediscovered, he no longer has to hide being a mage. Others now know of his apparent friend-the Vampire Razvan. But he and the people of Naxos must hide their new discoveries for not everyone can handle the news and not everyone should know.

Old enemies still long for the destruction of Naxos. Enemies that have knowledge of things they shouldn''t. Despite his defeats Cosmin still has plans for the violent demise of the nobles of Naxos. He longs to see Duke Belen dead. New allies might give him the chance.

Still, life must go on. Despite the sudden addition of life altering facts, Stephunos and his group of friends must learn to deal with new technologies while continuing to live as they always had.
