Marcell is a zombie—or at least, he's supposed to be, if something hadn't gone wrong during the transformation process. Resigned to an endless cycle of 'death' and rebirth as his body constantly deteriorates around him, he's given up all hope of either a cure or relief, when he crosses paths with a curious and annoyingly persistent hunter who's insistent on not leaving him alone. Becoming a charity case is the last thing Marcell wants, but it would appear that, much like his failed conversion, the universe has other plans for him.
