30,000 DATES. 15 CLUES. ONLY 1 DATE IS THE MURDER DATE. One of the most dangerous killers in the country died in prison. After his death, his cellmate revealed that the killer had bragged about committing a famous murder that had never been linked to him and that police believed was already solved. Investigators searched his cell and found notebooks filled with thousands of dates and scattered notes. They preserved the dates, compiled them into a single file, and extracted 15 clues from the notes. They believe those clues point to the date of that murder, but without the date, they have no way of knowing which murder, which case, or which man in prison is the innocent one. Your task is to follow the 15 clues, work through the 30,000 dates, eliminate every date that does not fit, and narrow the file down until only one possible murder date remains. Finding that date is the only way to identify the case and free an innocent man who was wrongly convicted. Step into the investigation and put your detective skills to the ultimate test with this unique murder mystery puzzle book. CAN YOU FIND THE MURDATE?

Science denialism - fuelled by mis/disinformation - is a global existential crisis that erodes social cohesion and our collective capacity to confront crises like climate change, transform energy systems, and curtail pandemics. Despite scientific breakthroughs, denialism appears to be not only persisting, but accelerating. Research on the causes, consequences, and cures most often focus on individual-level denial. Yet science denialism is not exclusively caused by individuals' biases or lack of knowledge, which is addressed with more/better education, but also by other more contextual causes. Thus, even if we could talk to one person at a time, we will never reverse this denialist tide. Missing is a systematic examination of the role that organizations play for diagnosing the sources and levels of science denialism, understanding the tactics used, and strategizing effective solutions. Organized Science Denial addresses these urgent questions: Why and how do doubts in science persist in society? What is the role of organizations and institutions in science denialism? And which strategies can organizations implement to effectively mitigate this global and collective issue? To answer these questions, the editors bring insights on science denialism from an array of internationally renowned management scholars. The book leverages socio-psychological and organizational theories, examines the roles of organizations and institutions in both perpetuating and combating denialism, and creates innovative solutions.

Shedding new light on the human side of big data through the lenses of emotional and social intelligence competencies, this book advances the understanding of the requirements of the different professions that deal with big data. It also illustrates the empirical evidence collected through the application of the competency-based methodology to a sample of data scientists and data analysts, the two most in-demand big data jobs in the labor market. The book provides recommendations for the higher education system to offer better designed curricula for entry-level big data professions. It also offers managerial insights in describing how organizations and specifically HR practitioners can benefit from the competency-based approach to overcome the skill shortage that characterizes the demand for big data professional roles and to increase the effectiveness of the selection and recruiting processes.
