Behandelt werden sowohl Modelle, Konzepte und Theorien der Kognitiven Semantik als auch Grammatikmodelle wie die Kognitive Grammatik und die Konstruktionsgrammatiken. Auch neuere Entwicklungen wie die kognitiv-linguistische Forschung zur Multimodalität, die Kognitive Poetik und die Anwendung kognitiv-linguistischer Erkenntnisse im Sprachunterricht werden vorgestellt.
