Nu är den andra reviderade upplagan av ”den orangea boken” äntligen här! För drygt tio år sedan fick författarna ett uppdrag av Forum – idéburna organisationer med social inriktning att skriva en kortare antologi som översiktligt skulle beskriva det svenska civilsamhället från olika perspektiv. Syftet med antologin var att den skulle fungera som en introduktion till det svenska civilsamhället för nyfikna läsare. Tack vare samarbete med Ideell Arena har författarna fått chansen att uppdatera texten och komplettera den med ett helt nytt kapitel. I denna version av boken finns författare från Ersta Sköndal Bräcke högskola och Handelshögskolan i Stockholm med. De ger läsarna möjligheten att följa hur det medborgerliga engagemanget och civilsamhällets organisationer har förändrats, men också hur civilsamhället förhåller sig till det övriga samhället och hur de förhoppningar och farhågor som är förknippade med civilsamhället har förändrats.
