Launched in 2006, the GT3 racing category has proved a huge success story over its first two decades. It rapidly gained a foothold worldwide as more and more manufacturers purposely developed cars for the category and became adopted by an increasing number of national and international series. So far 23 manufacturers have been represented and thousands of GT3 cars have been built and sold. The brainchild of Stephane Ratel, founder of the SRO Motorsports Group and one-time sportscar racer, the idea was to bring together the most prestigious sportscar brands and give them a level playing field on which to compete. This has been achieved through cost control, a formula to balance the performance of various contrasting racing cars, and driver grading according to their experience and speed. This book takes an in-depth look at the first 20 years of GT3, from its early foundations to its position today as the world's leading GT sportscar category.

After numerous trips to Rome I wanted to put together a variety of little things which I had learned, I also wanted to share some of my personal favorite places in and around Rome with all of you and wish and hope that someday you can go and walk and do the fabulous things I have been able to do over the last 15 years in Rome.Traveling to Rome means immersing yourself in the "e;Eternal City,"e; a vibrant mix of ancient ruins like the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Renaissance art, Baroque fountains (Trevi Fountain), Vatican City's spiritual grandeur (St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel), and charming neighborhoods like Trastevere, best explored by walking to discover incredible history, delicious Italian food, and lively piazzas, with a need to book major sites ahead and utilize public transport or foot power.
