When high speed internet became widely available a few years ago, growing numbers of people began to worry that their porn use was running out of control. Far from preparing them for fulfilling relationships, viewing an endless stream of porn videos led to unexpected symptoms. Perhaps most surprisingly, for the first time in history erectile dysfunction was becoming a significant problem for young men. This led to one of the largest informal experiments in the history of science. Tens of thousands of people have tried abstaining from sexually stimulating material in a process they call 'rebooting'. Many of them reported startling changes, from improved concentration and elevated mood to a greater capacity for real-life intimacy.

Gary Wilson has listened to the stories of those who have tried giving up internet porn and related them to an account of how the reward system of the brain interacts with its environment. And now a growing body of research in neuroscience is confirming what these pioneers have discovered for themselves - internet pornography can be seriously addictive and damaging.

In Your Brain on Porn Wilson provides a concise introduction to the phenomenon of internet porn addiction that draws on both first-person accounts and the findings of cognitive neuroscience. In a voice that is generous and humane, he also offers advice for those who want to stop using internet pornography. The publication of Your Brain on Porn is a landmark in our attempts to understand, and remain balanced in, a world where addiction is big business.

This book examines the extent to which Brexit has impacted upon the operation of the British Constitution, prompting in turn consideration of how some of the factors which contributed to the outcome of the 2016 referendum, as well as the event of Brexit itself, might inform debates surrounding constitutional reform moving forward. The work seeks to make sense of the constitutional implications of Brexit and to revisit some of the key debates that have taken place in respect of particular constitutional reform proposals in order to assess the extent to which recent Brexit-related developments inform the perspectives which are taken upon their merits and prospects. The book is divided into two parts. The first provides some context for the substantive treatment of the potential impact of Brexit on constitutional reform debates which forms the focus of Part II. Part II centres on various specific constitutional reform themes or issues, which are explored further within the context of Brexit. For each such issue, the main parameters of the debates which have taken place are sketched out before moving on to consider how it has informed, or may come to be informed, by the phenomenon of Brexit. By so doing, it looks to some future directions for constitutional reform which take account of the factors driving the discourses which gave rise to the referendum outcome and subsequent developments, as well as offering meaningful responses to these. The book will be of interest to academics, researchers and policy-makers working in the areas of constitutional law, constitutional politics, philosophy and history.

The role of the United Nations in collective security has been evolving since its inception in 1945. This book explores collective security as practiced within the legal framework provided by the United Nations Charter, with a particular focus upon activity undertaken under the auspices of the UN Security Council, the body conferred by the Charter with the primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security. Although the book is primarily grounded in international law, where appropriate it also draws upon relevant political insights in order to present a clear picture of the UN collective security system in operation and the factors which impact upon the way in which it functions.

Offering a comprehensive analysis it considers the full range of measures which can be utilised by the UN in the performance of its collective security remit including military enforcement action, peacekeeping, non-military sanctions and diplomacy. The book considers each of these measures in detail, assessing the legal framework applicable to the form of action, the main legal controversies which arise in respect of their appropriate utilisation, and the UN’s use of this collective security ‘tool’ in practice. The book draws conclusions about the main strengths and shortcomings of the various means through which the UN can attempt to prevent, minimise or end conflict.

This novel is about how we are in the evening time according to the Bible; the evening time is not corresponding to the natural time when the sun starts to go down, but this book is revealing how spiritual darkness will start to overtake the world before Jesus comes for his church. The prophecies that the Bible predicts are arranged in the novel to show how these prophecies will affect people and what Christians will go through whereas the enemy starts to encroach his wickedness and power against Gods people to take control of the whole entire world. The Bible already tells us what is going to happen in the last days before his imminent return; a group called the Evening Time Laborers are going to stand against the powers of hell and share the gospel to a lost world, but they are running out of time. They are going to labor in the evening time while the anti-Christ is starting to expose himself and is trying to take his seat as a one world leader for seven years; this new leader is no other but Hitler resurrected. The End Time Laborers are faced with reaching the world before the anti-Christ; this fiction novel is filled with action, romance, and excitement; and these are some of the things people will experience as we draw closer to the end time. The Bible has several scriptures about prophecy that the world will face in the near future; even Jesus warns in the book of Matthew chapter 24 that natural disasters would happen before he comes to take his church. Mother Nature will go off course for no apparent reason and many signs and wonders will start to appear as a sign to warn people of his soon return. Many bible scholars and ministers have different interpretations about the rapture; some believe the rapture will come before the Great Tribulation and others believe the rapture will come in the middle of the tribulation while others believe the rapture will come at the end of the Great tribulation. You have to research on your own and make your own decision when Jesus will return for his church; I am not going to give my opinion on which one is right, but one thing is certain. Jesus is going to return for his church and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. In-addition, the Great Tribulation will last seven years and during this time; the Anti-Christ will reign as a King of the whole entire world, and he will try to get everybody to worship him as God, and receive his mark that is 666. If the rapture happens in the middle or end of the tribulation; many Christians will suffer and be executed without mercy according to the book of Revelation. This dramatized noel will reveal the importance of laboring before darkness takes over because trying to work for Christ during the Tribulation will be almost impossible.
