As I write this, the Covid 19 virus is raging out of control. The current American death toll, as a result of the virus, is approaching 270,000 and is expected to double within the next couple of months. The press, or at least all the major mainstream news networks, have quite gleefully reported that the federal election is over, Trump has lost, Biden is now the "president elect", and Trump should "quit playing golf and prepare to spend the remainder of his ''golden years'' in a ''correctional institution''."

Perhaps the journalists are blinded by their hatred of Trump. The man is by no means the "sharpest tool in the shed", but nor is he entirely stupid. He has hired a rather impressive team of lawyers, including experts on constitutional law, and those "legal eagles" are almost certainly telling Trump precisely what he wants to hear. Strangely enough, it may even be the truth. The fact is that the Twelfth Amendment to the Constitution makes no mention of the popular vote. It is the Electors who vote for the President, as well as the Vice President, and not the American voters. Further, those same lawyers are prepared to argue, before the Supreme Court, that the states have no right to meddle in a federal election. This is to say that any state laws which place restrictions on the Electors are not constitutional. If the Supreme Court agrees, then the current two-party system will effectively be abolished.

This book ties together the current revolutionary American motion, which is sweeping the country, with the events of Russia, immediately before the Russian Revolution of November 7, 1917. The Russian insurrection is covered, in which the working people were first made aware of themselves as a class, then rose up and overthrew the government of the capitalist class, in the form of the Karensky regime. The capitalist state apparatus was then smashed and replaced with a working class state apparatus, in the form of the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat. This state apparatus was then used to crush the desperate and determined resistance of the monopoly capitalists, who were determined to return to power. Without a doubt, we will have to mount a similar insurrection in this country, in order to overthrow the monopoly capitalists, the billionaires, the bourgeoisie, then smash the existing state machine, and crush the billionaires under our Dictatorship Of the Proletariat.

America is close to revolution. In preparation for socialism, the working class, the proletariat, must become class conscious. They must become aware that the monopoly capitalists, the billionaires, the bourgeoisie, are enemies of all working people. As such, they must be overthrown, the state apparatus which they have set up to crush the working class must be smashed, and then they must be crushed, under the Dictatorship Of the Proletariat, This book provides the class awareness, as well as the instructions for a proper socialist revolution.
