Heather Morris är född i Nya Zeeland men bor numera i Melbourne, Australien. 2003 presenterades hon för en äldre gentleman , som sades ha en historia att berätta. Dagen hon mötte Lale Sokolov förändrade bådas liv och allteftersom deras vänskap växte anförtrodde Lale Heather Morris sina innersta hemligheter ur sitt liv som lägerfånge och tatuerare.
