Con base en una profunda investigación, Héctor Díaz-Polanco realiza una narración sobre las rebeliones indígenas en el Istmo de Tehuantepec durante 1660. Relata el contexto sociopolítico de la época, en el cual la región se ve sumida en corrupción y abusos, lo cual suscitó un levantamiento de parte de las comunidades afectadas.
