This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second International Conference on Intelligent, Secure, and Dependable Systems in Distributed and Cloud Environments, ISDDC 2018, held in Vancouver, BC, Canada, in November 2018.

The 10 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 28 submissions. This book also contains the abstracts of two keynote talks and one tutorial. Cyber-physical systems bridge the divide between cyber and physical-mechanical systems by combining seamlessly software systems, sensors, and actuators connected over computer networks. Through these sensors, data about the physical world can be captured and used for smart autonomous decision-making.
