This book serves as a forum to present applications of innovative techniques for studying and solving complex problems in artificial intelligence and computing. This book brings together experience, current work, and promising future trends related to distributed computing, artificial intelligence, and their applications to provide efficient solutions to real-world problems. Given the conference’s success, this book features fifteen special sessions covering a wide range of topics related to AI and other areas of interest. The accepted papers from these sessions are presented in two volumes, showcasing the diverse and innovative research being conducted in these domains. This is the second volume, which includes the sessions: Special Session on Artificial Intelligence trends in Health & Care (AItHeC), Special Session on audio and video analysis and pattern recognition (AVARP) organized by the IA4birds project, Special Session on Crypto-Asset Exchange Platforms: Technical and Legal Aspects (CSDT), Special Session on Emerging Technologies For Cybersecurity Resilience: Blockchain, Threat Detection, And Compliance (ETCR), Special Session on Intelligent Search and Discovery in the Future Internet (ISDFI), Special Session on Quantum computing applied to industry and cybersecurity (QUINCY), Special Session on Novel Technologies for Smart Industry and Mobility (SmartMob) and Special Session on dAIEDGE: Trustworthy, Regulated, and Efficient AI on the Edge (TRUST-E) and Session for Doctoral Consortiums. The DCAI’25 technical program has selected 82 papers in special sessions and, as in previous books, there are special issues in ranked journals. This symposium is organized by the SMAC Team of the CRIStAL Lab of the University of Lille. We would like to thank all the contributing authors and the members of the Program Committee for their hard and highly valuable work.

Mi yo adolescente creció metido en un armario, creyendo que Clive Barker era la única persona abiertamente gay que se dedicaba a mi género favorito: el terror. Por suerte, estaba equivocado, y la presencia de personajes LGTBIQ+ en el cine fantástico ha sido una constante a lo largo de su historia y no ha hecho sino aumentar en las últimas décadas.Además de pasar a formar parte del imaginario colectivo, monstruos cinematográficos procedentes de la literatura gótica como Drácula, la criatura de Frankenstein o Mr. Hyde fueron algunos de los primeros ejemplos de representaciones queer en la gran pantalla, ligadas siempre a lo diferente, a lo raro y a todo aquello que iba en contra de lo heteronormativo.Del predominio de clichés negativos —lesbianas con tendencias psicópatas, sanguinarias vampiras bisexuales, asesinos travestidos y un largo etcétera— a la plena aceptación de la diversidad, Scream Queer propone un amplio recorrido por la evolución de la representación LGTBIQ+ en el género fantástico a través del análisis de cientos de películas, expiando además los traumas y contando las vivencias personales que han marcado a quien esto escribe: un marica obsesionado con el cine de terror.

Con el paso de los años, John Waters se ha convertido en una de las figuras de referencia no solo del cine underground estadounidense, sino de la cultura pop en general. En su larga trayectoria, que abarca desde clásicos de la inmundicia como Multiple Maniacs, Pink Flamingos o Cosa de hembras hasta títulos más mainstream como Hairspray o Los asesinatos de mamá, el cineasta de Baltimore ha ido repitiendo una serie de obsesiones temáticas y formales que merecían ser estudiadas en un solo libro. ¡Larga vida al trash! El cine de John Waters como nunca te lo habían contado es un homenaje a un director que, acompañado por una troupe de actrices y actores incondicionales —los denominados dreamlanders— como Mink Stole, Patricia Hearst, Susan Lowe y, sobre todo, la mítica Divine, forzó los límites de lo que estaba permitido ver en la gran pantalla con grandes dosis de humor, irreverencia y transgresión. Entre las autoras y autores que han querido sumarse a este tributo a John Waters se encuentran Valeria Vegas, Esty Quesada (también conocida como Soy una pringada), el director de cine Adrián Silvestre, los críticos de cine Javier Parra (autor de Scream Queer), Álex Mendíbil y Xavi Sánchez Pons, el investigador Carlos Barea o Álex Ander, autor de la primera monografía sobre Divine.
