This book examines the experiences of Ukrainians who fled the escalated war, focusing on their journeys to the European Union, adaptation there, and eventual return and reintegration into Ukraine.Drawing on fieldwork in Ukraine in 2024 and 2025, surveys, and interviews with returnees, it provides detailed analysis and vivid accounts of displacement and return.
