De schokgolf na de ontdekking dat seksueel misbruik van kinderen frequent voorkomt, is stilaan weggeëbd. Bij het publiek zijn de gemoederen grotendeels bedaard. Maar een aantal slachtoffers blijft eenzaam achter, op zoek naar heling. Anderzijds aarzelen daders van seksueel misbruik tussen bekennen en verbergen. De opdracht deze mensen hulp te verlenen is niet eenvoudig.Dit boek wil bijdragen aan een professionele, pastorale begeleiding van slachtoffers én daders. Daarom wordt in een eerste deel gereflecteerd over de eigenheid van een pastorale benadering. Het hermeneutische model dat voortvloeit uit deze studie en gebaseerd is op de studie van P. Ricoeur, wordt concreet ingevuld in het tweede deel waarin het seksuele misbruik bestudeerd wordt. In de multidisciplinaire benadering wordt een beroep gedaan op de seksuologie en de psychotherapie. Terzelfdertijd wordt gezocht naar theologische resonanties. Zowel bij de daders als bij het slachtoffer staat de problematiek van verbondenheid, schuld en macht centraal.

Noli me tangere', zegt de verrezen Christus tegen Maria Magdalena volgens de Latijnse bijbelvertaling van Johannes 20,17. Weinig bijbelse uitspraken hebben zoveel interesse gewekt van zowel kunstenaars als theologen als deze drie intrigerende woorden. Het «Noli me tangere»-motief ligt aan de basis van het door het Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen gefinancierde interdisciplinaire onderzoeksproject 'Maria Magdalena en het aanraken van Jezus. Een intra- en interdisciplinair onderzoek naar de interpretatie van Johannes 20,17 in exegese, iconografie en pastorale begeleiding'. In samenwerking met het Centrum Vrouwenstudies Theologie van de Faculteit Godgeleerdheid van de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven organiseerde de onderzoeksgroep in de Maurits Sabbebibliotheek een tentoonstelling onder de titel '«Noli me tangere». Maria Magdalena in veelvoud' (23 februari tot 30 april 2006). In het eerste deel van deze tentoonstellingscatalogus exploreren de vier promotoren van dit project, Sabine Van den Eynde, Raimund Bieringer, Karlijn Demasure en Barbara Baert de betekenis van het «Noli me tangere»-motief elk vanuit de eigen discipline. In het tweede deel van de catalogus worden de bijna dertig tentoongestelde stukken telkens met een kleurenafbeelding geïllustreerd en besproken. De kunstwerken zijn afkomstig uit diverse periodes, gaande van de vijftiende tot de eenentwintigste eeuw. Diversiteit is ook troef als men de genres en de artistieke media bekijkt: grafiek, schilderkunst, beeldhouwkunst en miniatuurkunst naast volkse reproducties. De onderzoeksgroep heeft ook hedendaagse kunstenaars uitgenodigd om hun visie weer te geven op het «Noli me tangere»-motief. De Indiase kunstenares Lucy D'Souza maakte een schilderij op het snijpunt van christendom en hindoeïsme. De fotografe Malou Swinnen portretteert een Filippijns model, terwijl de kalligraaf Brody Neuenschwander een sculptuur gemaakt heeft bedekt met een sluier met letters. De schilderes Claire Vanden Abbeele en de schilder Jan Vanriet waren bereid om hun reeds bestaande «Noli me tangere» ter beschikking te stellen. Op deze manier verbindt de tentoonstelling artistieke periodes, artistieke media en diverse werelddelen. «Noli me tangere: Maria Magdalena in veelvoud» wil u een Maria Magdalena aanbieden die verleden en heden verbindt.

The many numbers of divorces and remarriages today seem to place in question the concept of marriage as being «till death do us apart». How should we evaluate this development? Are the foundations of society being shaken to their core or does perhaps the great number of people remarrying indicate precisely that «conjugality» continues to be a fixed element in the human lifecycle? Scientific insights and loyality to the Christian tradition bring this multi-disciplinary theological reflection to a double movement: on the one hand, a re-appreciation of Christian marriage in terms of its evangelical roots, on the other a theological and pastoral dialogue with the several current forms that conjugality assumes upon a marriage's failure. We furthermore give special attention to the position of the children. From a faith perspective, marriage continues to be a pre-eminent path of salvation as a community of life and basis for family. La fréquence actuelle des divorces et des remariages remet en question la vision d'un «mariage pour toujours». Comment apprécier cette évolution? Faut-il dire qu'est ainsi atteint le fondement même de la vie commune? Ou bien le grand nombre de remariage confirme-t-il que la «conjugalité» reste une composante ferme de l'existence humaine? Les recherches scientifiques et la loyauté envers la tradition chrétienne orientent la réflexion théologique multidisciplinaire dans une double direction. D'une part, une redéfinition du mariage chrétien à partir de ses racines évangéliques. D'autre part, un dialogue théologique et pastoral avec les multiples formes actuelles de conjugalité, succédant à un échec du mariage. Dans ce contexte, nous accordons une particulière attention à la situation des enfants. Pour le chrétien, le mariage reste une exceptionnelle voie de salut, si du moins il est conçu comme une communauté de vie et le fondement de la famille.

The diversity of family models presents great challenges for contemporary Christians, from ethical point of view, as well as the spiritual level and the living together. Family patterns are in continuous mutation which is a potential source of conflict. Many scholars, including sociologists, theologians, psychologists, and philosophers take this subject to heart. They meet to discuss a number of issues concerning the family: the forms of contemporary family, the future of the family or families, their challenges and needs. This book is to promote conversation about the family between secular perspectives and Christian approaches. In three parts, this volume deals with current research in the field of human sciences. The first part discusses the structural dimension, treating the impact of attachment theory, analyzing the investigations concerning family separation and taking into consideration contemporary parenting ethical issues. In the second part, relevant ethical, pastoral and psychological issues related to contemporary tensions in the field are processed. As for the third part, it seeks the indices, the spiritual and therapeutic pathways in the heart of the great diversity that is lived. La diversité de modèles familiaux contemporains présente de grands défis aux chrétiens, de point de vue éthique, spirituel ainsi qu'au niveau du vivre-ensemble. Les modéles familiaux sont en mutation continue. Par ce fait même, cette mutation est une source potentielle de conflit. Plusieurs penseurs, sociologues, théologiens, psychologues et philosophes, prennent à cœur ce sujet. Chercheurs, universitaires et practiciens se réunissent pour échanger sur de multiples questions concernant la famille contemporaine plurielle, ses formes, son avenir, ses défis et ses besoins. Ce collectif favorise la conversation au sujet de la famille entre les perspectives séculières et les approches de la tradition chrétienne. Dans ses trois parties, il tient à l'articulation très précise des recherches actuelles dans le domaine des sciences humaines. La première partie évoque une dimension plus structurale et traite des impacts des théories de l'attachement, analyse les enquêtes concernant la famille et la séparation et prend en compte des questions éthiques contemporaines autour de la parentalité. Dans la deuxième partie, des questions éthiques, pastorales et psychologiques liées aux champs où elles s'exercent sont traitées. Quant à la troisième partie, elle cherche des indices, des chemins spirituels et thérapeutiques au cœur même de la grande diversité qui se vit.
