Die simultane Losgrößen- und Ablaufplanung in der Fertigungsindustrie zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Komplexität aus. Aus diesem Grund sind exakte mathematische Verfahren zur Lösung industrieller Problemstrukturen in der Regel ungeeignet. Doch praxisorientierte Methoden und Modelle zur Lösung von Produktionsplanungsproblemen liegen bislang noch nicht vor.Kai Brüssau entwickelt ein innovatives Verfahren für die simultane Losgrößen- und Ablaufplanung zur Optimierung von Produktivitätssteigerungen im Produktionsprozess der Fertigungsindustrie. Im Bereich der Evolutionären Algorithmen werden klassische Verfahren so modifiziert, dass sie ohne zusätzliche manuelle Anpassung für die unterschiedlichsten Problemstellungen genutzt werden können. Die Arbeit leistet somit einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Lösung realer betriebswirtschaftlicher Probleme in der Fertigungsplanung.
