Megumin is off to Arcanletia, the city of water, hot springs…and the Axis Church! With no money and no connections, she soon finds herself helping its members in their efforts to secure new recruits! Along the way, she’ll discover just how strange the Axis Church and its followers truly are…

Leaving Arcanletia and the Axis Church behind, Megumin and Yunyun hop on a wagon bound for Axel, where Megumin’s role model awaits. It’s going to be an even rougher ride than they expected, however, when monsters assault them at every turn! Is this just bad luck, or is there something more sinister at play…?
