But even when he seeks advice from other parents around the village, Hiraku doesn't quite get the answers he's looking for... Then, as he fumbles for harmony and peace in his relationships, good news arrives! Hakuren is pregnant!

Winter turns to spring, marking the end and the beginning of another year in Tall Tree Village. But constant problems plague the village! It might not be a fun, easy spring after all. To make matters worse, the chief of the Angel tribe's daughter, Kupid, suddenly bursts onto the scene!

Cries of joy ring throughout Tall Tree Village as they celebrate the birth of a bouncing baby boy. The villagers carry on with their busy lives to ensure that the autumn harvest goes smoothly, but then the Village Chief suddenly has an idea! He wants to reform the hot spring recon team... and this time, he wants to take charge of their mission! The hot spring recon team leaps into action in volume 8 of this slow life farming fantasy!

Hiraku kicks back and relaxes at the hot springs, but the exploration group is out busting their butts in the dungeon! In an unexpected turn of events, the group ends up taking a cute little girl under their wing... but why does this cause such a stir with the angels?!

After Hiraku dies of a serious illness, God brings him back to life, gives his health and youth back, and sends him to a fantasy world of his choice. With the peaceful culmination of the martial arts tourney, the villagers are ready to go back to their laidback lifestyle . . . that is until new residents create major problems! Construction of the new village is going smoothly, but Hiraku and the festival planners are finding themselves in a rut. On top of that, a lottery drawing brings Tall Tree Village to the conclusion that a tournament of valor will be held as the village festival - the polar opposite of easy living!
