Der vorliegende Sammelband fragt anhand von acht Studien zu verschiedenen Reformations- und Lutherfeiern des 18.–20. Jahrhunderts, wie diese Verortung in der reformatorischen Tradition für die Ausbildung spezifischer kollektiver Identitäten im jeweiligen zeitgenössischen Kontext genutzt wurde.
