This collection contains pieces of varying degrees of difficulty (easy to moderate) from three centuries of music. It includes several enchanting and little-known miniatures which, as a collection, should be a welcome addition to the advanced guitar repertoire, both for tuition purposes and concert performance.

A selection of the most important guitar studies by Aguado, Cano, Carcassi, Coste Giuliano, Sor and others for advanced guitarists, with fingerings and information on how to study the works. Each study deals with certain technical and musical problems so that all important issues of guitar technique are treated in this volume. The chapters are arranged in increasing order of difficulty. All technical issues are clearly listed in the table of contents to help both the player and the teacher to find what they are looking for.
