Newtonian Nonlinear Dynamics for Complex Linear and Optimization Problems explores how Newton's equation for the motion of one particle in classical mechanics combined with finite difference methods allows creation of a mechanical scenario to solve basic problems in linear algebra and programming. The authors present a novel, unified numerical and mechanical approach and an important analysis method of optimization.

This book presents a comprehensive and focused attempt to derive key properties of multidimensional, or multi-index, Chebyshev polynomials by using generalized Hermite polynomials as a foundational tool. It demonstrates how multi-index Hermite polynomials can be employed to construct multidimensional Chebyshev polynomials of both the first and second kinds. Through symbolic and integral techniques, including a formal treatment of the Laplace transform, the book investigates various generalizations of these polynomial families. Emphasizing multi-index formulations, it explores these polynomials through a symbolic framework involving suitable integral transforms by leveraging the Laplace transforms. Key operational techniques are developed and applied to deepen conceptual understanding and navigate the formal structures underpinning various derived relationships. The discussion is highlighted in applications inspired by real-world physical problems. Multi-index Hermite polynomials are examined in the context of quantum optics to model both coherent and incoherent radiation field distributions. Multidimensional systems coupled through electromagnetic radiation are addressed, alongside related wave propagation phenomena. Higher-order Laguerre polynomials are utilized to compute statistical moments of chaotic radiation, while multidimensional Bessel functions are explored for their role in laser theory. Traditional applications of Chebyshev polynomials in approximation theory are also revisited, providing a bridge between classic and contemporary mathematical approaches. The content of the book is designed into three parts, each addressing a distinct facet of the subject. Part I is devoted to the algebraic theory of general set-theoretic solutions to the Yang–Baxter equation, with particular emphasis on skew left braces and Rota–Baxter groups. Part II presents a detailed treatment of the algebraic theory of racks and quandles. Part III, the most advanced part of the book, is concerned with the homology and cohomology theories associated with solutions to the Yang–Baxter equation. From the point of view of logical dependency, Parts I and II are largely self-contained and may be read independently, while Part III builds upon foundational concepts introduced in the earlier parts.

This book is mainly devoted to the dynamics of the one-dimensional nonlinear stochastic waves. It contains a description of the basic mathematical tools as well as the latest results in the following fields: exactly integrable nonlinear stochastic equations, dynamics of the nonlinear waves in random media, evolution of the random waves in nonlinear media and the basic concepts of the numerical simulations in nonlinear random wave dynamics. A brief outline of the localization phenomenon in the nonlinear medium is also given. The approach is interdisciplinary describing the general methods with application to specific examples. The results presented may be useful for those who work in the areas of solid state physics, hydrodynamics, nonlinear optics, plasma physics, mathematical models of micromolecules and biological structures, …etc. Since many results are based on the inverse scattering technique, perturbation theory for solitons and the methods of the statistical radiophysics, the terminology of the respective fields is used.

This is the first of two Euroconferences aimed at addressing the issues of Nonlinearity and Disorder. The 1995 Euroconference was devoted to the mathematical, numerical and experimental studies related to the Klein-Gordon and Schrödinger systems. The Euroconference was organized around main lectures in each area to introduce the main concepts and stimulate discussions. The mathematical studies covered the functional anlaysis and stochastic techniques applied to the general Klein-Gordon and Schrödinger wave equations. Also a panoramic view of the numerical schemes was presented to simulate the above equations, as well as an overview of the applications of such systems in the areas of condensed matter, optical physics, new materials and biophysics. Special attention was devoted to the discrete Schrödinger and Klein-Gordon systems and their applications.
