Maik Arnold is a writer, teacher, and researcher. Throughout his poetry, he engages with themes of data science, education, fitness, health, mindfulness, nature, and religiosity. He shares his writing with the world as a means to think things over again and again and to find ways that bring all people steps forward.

Neither did he study literature nor is he a native speaker. His creative inspiration comes from songs, books, conversations, newspapers, and the heart and has become part of his recreational time. Sometimes his poetry just resonates with what connects us human beings.

This book describes the transformation of leadership and management in the context of selected newer leadership approaches in social work and human service organisations. It is an essential primer that focuses on the extent to which the approaches presented help managers in social enterprises deal with current challenges in depth and to develop suitable answers to questions such as: What is leadership? How does this differ from management? What leadership qualifications do executives currently need for long-term and future-oriented management?Leadership and management in social work and human service organisations are constantly confronted with various challenges: employees want to be supported individually; managers must be able to act in an entrepreneurial manner; the organizational culture should be developed from a holistic point of view. Das Buch widmet sich der zentralen Frage, welche Rolle die Laterale Führung im Kontext der Sozialen Arbeit und des Sozialmanagements spielt. Es führt nicht nur in die theoretischen Grundlagen dieses Führungskonzepts ein, sondern vermittelt auch praxisnahe Handlungsempfehlungen, um Führungskräfte im mittleren Management dabei zu unterstützen, innovative Ansätze zu entwickeln und umzusetzen.
