Para ello se presentan de una forma clara y simple los métodos básicos del álgebra lineal, para aplicarlos posteriormente al estudio de los espacios afines y euclídeos, y a la clasificación de afinidades, desplazamientos y semejanzas.El libro es fruto de la experiencia de varios aos impartiendo asignaturas de Geometría y Álgebra lineal de los primeros cursos de Matemáticas y de otras Facultades.El lenguaje es llano, de forma que el texto tanto puede servir al profesor como al alumno que estudia por su cuenta.Al final de cada capítulo se incluyen unas notas históricas y una lista de ejercicios no triviales para resolver. También se da como complemento una serie de ejercicios sencillos para programar.
