The 1999 Annual Conference of the European Association for Computer Science Logic, CSL’99, was held in Madrid, Spain, on September 20-25, 1999. CSL’99 was the 13th in a series of annual meetings, originally intended as Internat- nal Workshops on Computer Science Logic, and the 8th to be held as the - nual Conference of the EACSL. The conference was organized by the Computer Science Departments (DSIP and DACYA) at Universidad Complutense in M- rid (UCM). The CSL’99 program committee selected 34 of 91 submitted papers for p- sentation at the conference and publication in this proceedings volume. Each submitted paper was refereed by at least two, and in almost all cases, three di erent referees. The second refereeing round, previously required before a - per was accepted for publication in the proceedings, was dropped following a decision taken by the EACSL membership meeting held during CSL’98 (Brno, Czech Republic, August 25, 1998).

This volume contains the proceedings of ICALP '91, the 18th annual summer conference sponsored by the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS). ICALP stands for International Colloquium on Automata, Languages, and Programming, and this conference series covers all important areas of theoretical computer science, such as: computability, automata, formal languages, data types and structures, theory of databases and knowledge bases, semantics of programming languages, program specification, transformation and verification, foundations of logic and functional programming, theory of logical design and layout, parallel and distributed computation, theory of concurrency, symbolic and algebraic computation, term rewriting systems, computational geometry, cryptography, and theory of robotics.

This volume constitutes the proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Algebraic and Logic Programming (ALP '94), held in Madrid, Spain in September 1994.Like the predecessor conferences in this series, ALP '94 succeeded in strengthening the cross-fertilization between algebraic techniques and logic programming. Besides abstracts of three invited talks, the volume contains 17 full revised papers selected from 41 submissions; the papers are organized into sections on theorem proving, narrowing, logic programming, term rewriting, and higher-order programming.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Algebraic and Logic Programming, ALP '96, held in Aachen, Germany, in September 1996 in conjunction with PLILP and SAS.The volume presents 21 revised full papers selected from 54 submissions; also included is an invited contribution by Claude Kirchner and Ilies Alouini entitled "Toward the Concurrent Implementation of Computational Systems". The volume is divided into topical sections on logic programming, term rewriting, integration of paradigms, abstract interpretation, Lambda-calculus and rewriting, and types.
