The 11 full papers presented at OR 2.0 2018, the 5 full papers presented at CARE 2018, the 8 full papers presented at CLIP 2018, and the 10 full papers presented at ISIC 2018 were carefully reviewed and selected.The OR 2.0 papers cover a wide range of topics such as machine vision and perception, robotics, surgical simulation and modeling, multi-modal data fusion and visualization, image analysis, advanced imaging, advanced display technologies, human-computer interfaces, sensors.The CARE papers cover topics to advance the field of computer-assisted and robotic endoscopy.The CLIP papers cover topics to fill gaps between basic science and clinical applications. The ISIC papers cover topics to facilitate knowledge dissemination in the field of skin image analysis, as well as to host a melanoma detection challenge, raising awareness and interest for these socially valuable tasks.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First Challenge in Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Neurocognitive Prediction, ABCD-NP 2019, held in conjunction with MICCAI 2019, in Shenzhen, China, in October 2019.

29 submissions were carefully reviewed and 24 of them were accepted. Some of the 24 submissions were merged and resulted in the 21 papers that are presented in this book. The papers explore methods for predicting fluid intelligence from T1-weighed MRI of 8669 children (age 9-10 years) recruited by the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study (ABCD) study; the largest long-term study of brain development and child health in the United States to date.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the First International Workshop on Uncertainty for Safe Utilization of Machine Learning in Medical Imaging, UNSURE 2019, and the 8th International Workshop on Clinical Image-Based Procedures, CLIP 2019, held in conjunction with MICCAI 2019, in Shenzhen, China, in October 2019.

For UNSURE 2019, 8 papers from 15 submissions were accepted for publication. They focus on developing awareness and encouraging research in the field of uncertainty modelling to enable safe implementation of machine learning tools in the clinical world.

CLIP 2019 accepted 11 papers from the 15 submissions received. The workshops provides a forum for work centred on specific clinical applications, including techniques and procedures based on comprehensive clinical image and other data. 

This book constitutes the refereed joint proceedings of the 10th International Workshop on Multimodal Learning for Clinical Decision Support, ML-CDS 2020, and the 9th International Workshop on Clinical Image-Based Procedures, CLIP 2020, held in conjunction with the 23rd International Conference on Medical Imaging and Computer-Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2020, in Lima, Peru, in October 2020. The workshops were held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

CLIP 2021 accepted 9 papers from the 13 submissions received. It focuses on holistic patient models for personalized healthcare with the goal to bring basic research methods closer to the clinical practice.

For DCL 2021, 4 papers from 7 submissions were accepted for publication. They deal with machine learning applied to problems where data cannot be stored in centralized databases and information privacy is a priority.

LL-COVID19 2021 accepted 2 papers out of 3 submissions dealing with the use of AI models in clinical practice.

And for PPML 2021, 2 papers were accepted from a total of 6 submissions, exploring the use of privacy techniques in the medical imaging community.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the First Workshop on Medical Image Learning with Limited and Noisy Data, MILLanD 2022, held in conjunction with MICCAI 2022. The conference was held in Singapore. For this workshop, 22 papers from 54 submissions were accepted for publication. They selected papers focus on the challenges and limitations of current deep learning methods applied to limited and noisy medical data and present new methods for training models using such imperfect data.

The 24 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 38 submissions. The conference focused on challenges and limitations of current deep learning methods applied to limited and noisy medical data and present new methods for training models using such imperfect data.
