Diese Arbeit hat das Dogma der gottlichen und menschlichen Natur Jesu zum Gegenstand, das, wenn man eine der beiden Naturen ubersteigert oder als ausschlielich setzt, heute nicht weniger als in fruheren Zeiten Gefahr lauft, vom wahren Glauben abzuweichen. Dieser Gefahr begegnet die Kirche auf dem sicheren Boden des Symbolums, des Bekenntnisses des christlichen Glaubens, wie es in den geistigen Sturmen der fruhen Jahrhunderte geschliffen worden ist. Das zeitlose dogmatische Lehrgebaude des Glaubens erhebt sich auf dem Fundament jener hart errungenen Einsichten, Klarstellungen und Verwerfungen, die in den glasklaren und fur immer verbindlichen Formulierungen der vier okumenischen Konzilien von Nizaa (325), Konstantinopel (381), Ephesus (431) und Chalkedon (451) gipfeln. Es ist bleibende Aufgabe der Theologie im allgemeinen und der Dogmatik im Besonderen, die vernunftgema e Wahrheit dieses Glaubensgutes immer wieder neu gegen die Anwurfe der jeweiligen Zeit zu verteidigen und somit auch fur die nachfolgenden Generationen zu bewahren, wie es die Tradition fur uns geleistet hat.

Master's Thesis from the year 2001 in the subject Economics - Monetary theory and policy, grade: 1,0, College of Europe, language: English, abstract: This paper addresses the interdependence of monetary and fiscal policy in a monetary union and the ensuing consequences for the economic constitution of the eurozone. Monetary-fiscal interactions are approached from economic theory and game-theoretical perspectives, which provides the basis for a discussion of the political economy of the present institutional framework. It draws extensively on the existing literature covering the linkages between monetary and fiscal policy as well as game-theoretical approaches to the interaction of the two major branches of macroeconomic management. The recently proliferating work on the political economy of Economic and Monetary Union is condensed into its main arguments and critically reviewed. This includes contributions to the understanding of the politics of economic policymaking as well as normative statements about the design of institutions in a monetary union. Most of the sources are papers that focus on specific issues or start from different assumptions, which implies that their conclusions are often diverging or not even compatible. While the thesis tries to provide a balanced representation of the scientific discussion in this area, it does at times stand for a clear-cut choice on controversial normative issues. The paper consists of a theoretical and an applied part. After briefly reviewing the relevant literature in this field, the analytical section develops the necessity of fiscal coordination in a monetary union, based on the interdependence of monetary and fiscal policy as well as the strategic interaction of the institutional players involved. This insight is then applied to the present framework of macroeconomic policy in the eurozone characterised by the fact that monetary policy is supranationally concentrated, whereas fiscal policy remains decentralised and national. The Stability and Growth Pact is discussed as an effective means of safeguarding the independence of the central bank, while falling short of the degree of fiscal coordination that would be desirable on the grounds of both stability and growth in Europe. This evaluation leads to a discussion of suggested improvements and a careful judgement of what kind of evolution would be feasible and advantageous for Economic and Monetary Union in the future.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Theologie - Vergleichende Religionswissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Katholische Akademie Domschule Wurzburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit beleuchtet die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede im Gottesverstandnis und im Heilsverstandnis zwischen Islam und Christentum. Judentum, Islam und Christentum sind die drei groen monotheistischen Religionen dieser Welt. Jeder glaubige Anhanger einer dieser drei Religionen kann Gemeinsamkeiten aber auch Unterschiede zwischen dem eigenen Glauben und dem Glauben der anderen bemerken. Aus den Gemeinsamkeiten kann Gemeinschaft erwachsen - aus den Unterschieden aber kann Konflikt entstehen, wie es in der Geschichte oft geschehen ist und auch unsere Zeit pragt. Solche Konflikte jedoch stehen im Widerspruch zu den gemeinsam geglaubten Anteilen der Offenbarung und verdunkeln die Botschaft monotheistischer Religion uberhaupt. Unterschiede im Glauben konnen bei naherer Betrachtung nur dann zu Konflikten fuhren, wenn sie den jeweils anderen Glaubigen in seiner Glaubensidentitat so tief verunsichern, dass er denkt, den Anhanger der anderen Religion verbal oder physisch bekampfen zu mussen. Eine solche Dynamik des Konflikts ist jedoch alles andere als unausweichlich und bedingt immer den Missbrauch der eigenen Religion, denn Unterschiede im Glauben konnen und sollen vielmehr dazu fuhren, dass der Glaubige sein eigenes Verstandnis scharft und nicht danach trachtet, das Verstandnis des anderen zu negieren. Auf solcher Grundlage kann statt Konflikt vielmehr ein sehr fruchtbarer Dialog entstehen, der beiden Seiten zugute kommt. Grundlegend fur eine solche, positive Dynamik und die Uberwindung von religiosen Konflikten ist zum einen eine tolerante Haltung gegenuber der jeweils anderen Glaubenswelt, zum anderen aber auch die notige Demut, die eigene Vorstellung zwar fur sich selbst als absolute Wahrheit zu erkennen, ohne diesen Anspruch dem anderen jedoch auch nur im Ansatz zuzumuten. Diese Aspekte versucht die Arbeit naher zu beleuchten.
