Das effektive und effiziente Management des Güterverkehrs in Städten und Ballungsräumen gewinnt aus ökonomischen und aus ökologischen Gründen an Bedeutung. Konzepte der City-Logistik, die durch eine unternehmensübergreifende Leistungserstellung Konsolidierungspotentiale erschließen, setzen hier an. Martin Kaupp entwickelt ein Prozeß-Controlling-Konzept und eine simulationsgestützte Controlling-Applikation zur Unterstützung City-logistischer Managementaufgaben.
