While Caesar's war monographs - the Bellum Gallicum, Books 1-7, and the so-called Bellum civile - have always been heavily researched, the same is not true of the supplementary writings that have survived in the Corpus Caesarianum. What means of representation do the authors of these texts use in their reports and to what extent do they themselves approach the reader as a narrator? What choices are made with regard to the events narrated? What is told in particular detail or briefly or not at all? How are individual events linked to form a narrative? And finally: How can the intention of the texts and their function in the historical context be reconstructed on the basis of these observations? These and similar questions have so far only been researched in rudimentary form. With its narratological approach, this monograph makes a contribution to closing the research gap in the study of the non-Caesarian writings in the corpus from a literary studies perspective.

The analysis includes investigating if the effect varies in different crucial business factors of SMEs as well as their company type. At last, the results are summarised and recommendations are given.

Moreover, the development of Tesco's gearing policy and the impact on financial figures is analysed. In a next step, literature on dividend policies is reviewed and applied to Tesco. In a last step, the capital structure policy of Tesco in respect to the pecking order and trade of theory is assessed.

Reduce labour costs by shifting the production- centre to a low-income country, 2. Enter new markets in countries with a low level of market satisfaction, 3. Enlarge the range and variety of products through a highly educated R&D-Team. After evaluating the business environment, three potential target countries for the internationalisation process are assessed. In a next step the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are lined out. Moreover a PEST-analysis is conducted to prepare for the location decision. Finally, the most adequate method is selected and a brief conclusion and recommendation are given.
