Die Bedeutung des Rechtsstaates erlangt im Zuge der Entstehung junger Demokratien verstärkt Aufmerksamkeit. Diskutiert werden die Folgen oftmals prekärer Rechtsstaatlichkeit für die funktionsweise und die Konsolidierung junger Demokratien.
