Enclosed within the deep and complex structures of the hip joint and the surroundings, acetabular fractures confront the orthopaedic surgeon with great challenges. Das Praxisbuch Unfallchirurgie bietet eine detaillierte Anleitung für die tägliche Praxis. Dabei werden insbesondere die Aspekte, die für die klinische Arbeit wesentlich sind, erschöpfend abgehandelt und zwar Diagnostik, Indikationsstellung, Therapie und Nachbehandlung der unfallchirurgischen Verletzungen. Dieser Band enthält alles, was man zu diesem brisanten Thema wissen muß; brisant deshalb, weil Dank moderner unfallchirurgischer Behandlungsverfahren immer schwerere Verletzungen überlebt werden, so dass es nicht selten die Weichteilverletzungen und -infektionen sind, die zum limitierenden Faktor werden. Umso wichtiger ist es, das Wissen um diesen Faktor zu vertiefen. Das vorliegende Werk läßt hier keine Wünsche offen.
