The Adventures of Flook is based on a true story from an encounter in Italy with an amazing dog named Flook. This dog was unlike any dog I had ever seen. In fact, he was extraordinary! When I first ventured to Italy, I heard tales of Flook catching the bus from his hometown to the beach and to the port. Anywhere he wanted to go, he could get there, and he would always return. Flook accompanied me on many occasions. He would wait at the bus stop with me and watch me as I got on the bus, as if to say good-bye. He would also walk with me to the beach from the top of the mountain, down very steep and difficult slopes, to make sure I got there safely, Flook was a guardian angel. When I talked to Flook, he would gaze into my eyes, and it seemed as if he understood everything clearly. He was the smartest dog I had ever met. Everyone in our town knew Flook. He was a village local, and now Flook''s adventure will be told as legend. This book is also dedicated to the Conte family.
