But there are even stranger mysteries: Did you know that the former Dark One himself abdicated to work at this shop? That the former spy corps of the Dark Army are working as its suppliers? Well, the proprietor is from another world, after all.

As the war carries on, Flio has finally achieved his dream of opening a shop, but he is far from finished. Somehow, he will end the ancient war between humanity and demonkind, thus creating a world where he and his demon wife Rys can live together in peace and raise a family.

The flag of rebellion has been raised! Dissatisfied with the boorish and short-tempered Dark One Yuigarde, the devil Zanzibar has risen up against the Dark Army, vying for rulership of demonkind. But it turns out Yuigarde is a lot tougher than anyone anticipated. Hard-pressed and desperate, Zanzibar makes a deal with a powerful dark entity: the Mistress of Evil!

Their busy daily lives are interrupted, however, by a sudden increase in Beast of Disaster attacks that has the Celestial Plane itself reaching out for aid. What became of the legendary nine-headed Hydrana? Has Wyne met her match in another dragonewt? Will Garyl’s flock of admirers ever take a hint? And how worried should we be about Elinàsze’s worsening daddy complex?

Flio’s life in the magical world of Klyrode is as chill as it’s ever been. Business is booming, his children are growing up happy, and he still has the time to enjoy the occasional early morning date with his lupine demon wife Rys, hunting magic beasts in the nearby wilderness. But while Klyrode itself may be enjoying a rare period of peace, the goddesses of the Celestial Plane have other things on their minds. An angel and a goddess have deserted the Celestial Plane, and at least one of them seems genuinely determined to start a new life. Worse, a beast of unparalleled strength has appeared in the Underground World Dogorogma, wreaking havoc on the prison the goddesses use to house the most dangerous creatures in the cosmos!
