This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence: Methodology, Systems, and Applications, AIMSA 2024, held in Varna, Bulgaria, during September 18–20, 2024.

The 18 revised full papers presented in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 23 submissions. They cover a wide range of topics in AI and its applications: natural language processing, sentiment analyses, image processing, optimization, reinforcement learning, from deep ANNs to spike timing NNs, applications in economics, medicine and process control.

In this carefully edited book some selected results of theoretical and applied research in the field of broadly perceived intelligent systems are presented. The problems vary from industrial to web and problem independent applications. All this is united under the slogan: "Intelligent systems conquer the world”.

The book brings together innovation projects with analytical research, invention, retrieval and processing of knowledge and logical applications in technology.

The Springer Handbook of Bio-/Neuro-Informatics is the first published book in one volume that explains together the basics and the state-of-the-art of two major science disciplines in their interaction and mutual relationship, namely: information sciences, bioinformatics and neuroinformatics. Bioinformatics is the area of science which is concerned with the information processes in biology and the development and applications of methods, tools and systems for storing and processing of biological information thus facilitating new knowledge discovery.
