Since then, however, several Asian nations have perceived growing links with the Latin American region as a means of diversifying their political and particularly economic relations while many Latin American decision-makers have increasingly recognised the strategic importance of East Asia in their foreign policy and foreign economic policy designs. Buroinformationssysteme sind als Bestandteil der gesamten betrieblichen Informationsverarbeitung zu verstehen und dementsprechend unter dem Aspekt der Integration zu entwerfen. Um die vielfaltigen Gestaltungsaufgaben zu bestimmen, die sich dabei ergeben, wird in der Arbeit ein allgemeines Modell aufgabenintegrierter Buroinformationssysteme entwickelt. Dieses beschreibt Funktionen und Daten eines Buroinformationssystems unter dem Aspekt der Integration in die betriebliche Aufgabenerfullung. Das Ergebnis der Arbeit wird nicht nur verbal dargelegt. Aufgrund der zunehmenden Bedeutung von Datenbanken fur die betriebliche Informationsverarbeitung werden zudem Entitaten im Sinne des Relationenmodells abgeleitet und beschrieben. Anhand dieses Datenmodells und einer Checkliste von Gestaltungsaufgaben, die im Umfeld des Modells zu beachten sind, wird dem Leser ubersichtsartig ein allgemeines Gestaltungsraster aufgabenintegrierter Buroinformationssysteme und ihrer Realisierungsprobleme aufgezeigt.
