Der Gesundheitsmarkt entwickelt sich immer schneller und dynamischer. Er ist geprägt von Kost- steigerungen, Budgetdeckelungen, einer weiter zunehmenden Spezialisierung sowie nachhaltigen Eingriffen des Gesetzgebers wie z.B. zuletzt durch das Krankenhausfinanzierungsreformgesetz vom 17. März 2009. Immer mehr Krankenhäuser sehen sich gezwungen, auf diese sich ständig verändernden Rahm- bedingungen durch Umstrukturierungen, Kooperationen mit anderen Leistungsträgern oder Pri- tisierungen zu reagieren. Bei der Umsetzung dieser Maßnahmen sind zahlreiche Rechtsgebiete tangiert, die untereinander, aber auch mit Fragen des Steuerrechts, der Krankenhausrechnungslegung und der Unternehme- bewertung eng verzahnt sind. Nach unseren Erfahrungen sind nur wenige Krankenhäuser zur Bewältigung dieser Maßnahmen umfassend vorbereitet bzw. verfügen über eigene Ressourcen zur umfassenden Problemlösung. Wir möchten mit diesem Buch die verschiedenen, den Krankenhausbereich betreffenden rechtlichen und steuerlichen Fragestellungen zusammenhängend darstellen, um dem Leser die Einarbeitung in die Materie und die inhaltliche Vertiefung einzelner Fragestellungen systematisch zu ermöglichen. Wir hoffen, dass dieses Werk sowohl den Praktikern in den Krankenhäusern als auch ihren jew- ligen Beratern eine wertvolle Unterstützung bietet. Für Anregungen und Hinweise sind wir sehr dankbar.
