In 1972, she was the first Black person ever to seek the nomination of President of the United States from a major party.

With their country at war with itself, three siblings flee their home in search of their missing father.Against the odds, they must navigate fields of landmines, suspicious soldiers and child kidnappers, but will survival of these perils ultimately lead them to reconciliation and safety?
