Lyapunov methods have been and are still one of the main tools to analyze the stability properties of dynamical systems. In this monograph, Lyapunov results characterizing the stability and stability of the origin of differential inclusions are reviewed. To characterize instability and destabilizability, Lyapunov-like functions, called Chetaev and control Chetaev functions in the monograph, are introduced. Based on their definition and by mirroring existing results on stability, analogue results for instability are derived. Moreover, by looking at the dynamics of a differential inclusion in backward time, similarities and differences between stability of the origin in forward time and instability in backward time, and vice versa, are discussed. Similarly, the invariance of the stability and instability properties of the equilibria of differential equations with respect to scaling are summarized. As a final result, ideas combining control Lyapunov and control Chetaev functions to simultaneously guarantee stability, i.e., convergence, and instability, i.e., avoidance, are outlined. The work is addressed at researchers working in control as well as graduate students in control engineering and applied mathematics.

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,8, Hochschule RheinMain, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Ausarbeitung werden zunächst theoretische Entwicklungen im Kontext des Jugendalters referiert und Gefahrenpotentiale und Hemmnisse für die Entwicklung einer geschlechtlichen Identität, als Teil einer kohärenten persönlichen Gesamtidentität identifiziert. Im Anschluss daran wird Geschlecht zunächst als soziales Konstrukt innerhalb einer binären Matrix identifiziert und im weiteren Verlauf aufgezeigt, dass geschlechtliche Identität und Geschlechterrolle auch abseits einer binären Zuordnung konstruierbar sind. Dann wird der Fokus auf das männliche Geschlecht gelegt und ein theoretisches Modell zur Klassifizierung männlicher Geschlechterrollen vorgestellt, welches die Relationen dieser untereinander beschreibt und differente Männlichkeitsrollen und -identitäten identifiziert und insbesondere toxische Männlichkeit als eine dieser Geschlechterrollen näher beschreibt. Gleichsam wird das Patriarchat als Produkt männlich geschlechtlicher Performanz beschrieben und dessen Auswüchse dargestellt.Im Anschluss wird ein Fokus auf Entstehungshintergründe toxischer Männlichkeit gelegt und toxische Männlichkeit als Produkt von Bewältigungshandeln identifiziert. Es wird der Frage nachgegangen, inwieweit toxische Männlichkeit reproduziert wird und in welchem Zusammenhang unterschiedliche Kapitalarten damit stehen können, sowie welcher theoretische Hintergrund einen Erklärungsansatz liefert, während dann im weiteren Verlauf die Verknüpfung zwischen Reproduktion und männlich geschlechtlichen Darstellungen gewagt wird. Kapitel 7 dient der Beschreibung diverser Darstellungsformen toxischer Männlichkeit und versucht diese nach ihren individuellen und strukturellen Auswirkungen zu unterscheiden. Dabei wird die Perfidie und Brisanz toxischer Männlichkeit deutlich. Es werden rechtliche Implikationen und Rahmenbedingungen beleuchtet, die der Förderung von Gleichberechtigung, als Vehikel zum Abbau toxischer Männlichkeit dienen. Anschließend werden dann sozialpädagogische und sozialpolitische Interventions- und Ordnungsmaßnahmen beschrieben, die toxischer Männlichkeit entgegenwirken und den gesamtgesellschaftlichen Abbau begünstigen sollen. Abschließend wird ein Fazit gezogen.
