There are two main categories for ferrites: hard ferrites (permanent magnets) and soft ferrites. Topics covered are energy conversion, magnetite biomineralization, microwave ferrites, magneto-optical properties and applications of ferrite films, bonded magnets, physics of electronic superstructures in magnetite, physics of perovskites, nanostructural ferrites, and multilayer chip inductors.
