What a read! It certainly keeps one in suspense with the wonderful storyline. It is really ironic, but I am so familiar with most of the places in the book. I lived and worked in Dubai for 2 years. My family home was in Sevenoaks, and I grew up loving Royal Tunbridge Wells. Now of course I am a Thanet resident. What an amazing coincidence. I loved the pace of the book and the development of the characters. Certainly, there is a criminal underworld in Dubai, and it is good that this is highlighted. Positions of power, just like in so many other countries, are abused.
