In a world where people with supernatural powers, called Blazers, manifest their souls as weapons, Kurogane Ikki dreams of becoming a Mage-Knight. It’s too bad he has no natural talent for it. The whole school ridicules him as the worst Blazer, so color everyone surprised when he suddenly defeats Stella Vermillion, a Rank A Blazer, in a duel. And so begins his fight to the top!

A month has passed since Ikki and Stella promised to cross swords again at the Seven Stars Battle Festival. But while they’ve won all of their qualifying matches in that time, their relationship hasn’t progressed one bit. To make matters worse, Ikki finds himself taking on a beautiful upperclassman as a disciple, making Stella lose her mind with jealousy. And to top it all off, he winds up challenging the infamous Sword Eater—a Mage-Knight who reached the quarterfinals of the previous year’s Seven Stars Battle Festival—to a duel! Things are heating up for both Ikki’s love life and his dueling career!

With only a few selection matches left to go, Shizuku finds herself up against her mightiest foe yet. In order to stand shoulder to shoulder with her beloved brother, she resolves to surpass her limits and defeat the school’s reigning champion—Toudou Touka, the Thunderbolt. Meanwhile, news of Ikki’s exploits has finally reached the ears of the Kurogane family, and they once again begin to interfere with his life. Will he be able to escape their cowardly machinations and make it in time for his final duel, or will his dream of reaching the Seven Stars Battle Festival end here?!

Ikki and his friends are at a joint training camp with Kyomon Academy to prepare for the Seven Stars Battle Festival. But while they’re away, mysterious assailants suddenly attack Hagun. They claim to be part of a group known as Akatsuki, and their strength is overwhelming.

As everyone races back to confront them, something catches them off guard—they’ve been betrayed. To make matters worse, Ikki ends up confronting the world’s strongest Blazer. Will he be able to survive the encounter?

At long last, Ikki has made it to the Seven Stars Battle Festival. Akatsuki seems to be maneuvering in the background, and Stella still hasn’t arrived in Osaka, where the tournament is being held, but Ikki is nevertheless excited for his upcoming matches. His meeting with his first opponent, Seven Stars Sovereign Morobishi Yuudai, only strengthens his resolve to give these battles his all. Before the tournament can even start, though, he finds himself embroiled in Akatsuki’s machinations, and he has to fight his brother, Kurogane Ouma. Will he be able to make it to the tournament safely?!

In order to take down the Akatsuki members in the B block, Stella declares that she’ll fight them all in a four-against-one! Will her burning desire for vengeance be enough to see her through this battle where the odds are stacked against her?! Meanwhile, Ikki is once again reunited with Shinomiya Amane, and he finally learns why the young boy gave him such bad vibes on their first meeting. Now that he knows what Amane’s power really is—and the darkness he carries in his heart—will Ikki be able to find the resolve to defeat him? The Seven Stars Battle Festival is only just getting started!

Due to the sudden shift in the tournament schedule, Ikki now has to fight two matches in one day! And his next opponent is none other than Sara Bloodlily, the girl who can create copies of other Blazers! To make matters worse, she’s declared that he must serve as her nude model if she wins. This is a match Ikki can’t lose, for the sake of his promise with Stella—and his dignity! But having used Ittou Rakshasa to defeat Byakuya, he doesn’t have much mana available for the battle, putting him at a huge disadvantage from the get-go.

Ikki doesn’t realize just how much trouble he’s in until the battle starts, though. To fight him, Sara creates a copy of Edelweiss, the strongest swordsman in the world!
