Ryan desperately wants a skateboard. He already has rollerblades, which was a big craze, but now it seems, everyone has moved up to skateboarding. Everyone except Ryan that is. To make matters worse, his parents in their infinite wisdom, have decided that if he wants one badly enough, he''ll just have to work for it. What a concept! None of his friends had to do that.This may take some time. complicating matters, although not for the worse, is uncle Carl. Looks like he is going to take that job abroad after all. He needs someone to take care of Spankie, his chimpanzee. Does Ryan want the job? You bet he does! But what about the skateboarding competition? How is he going to manage to fit everything together?
