The latest projects by interior designer Robert Stilin.

Robert Stilin is “admired for his extraordinary ability to give a crisp cohesion and an air of livability to the homes of his clients, which are most often packed with major works of art, as exhibited in his latest monograph, Robert Stilin: New Work.”—Jacqueline Terrebonne, Galerie Magazine

“When it comes to the art of the mix, designer Robert Stilin is in a league of his own. He has the best eye, layering pieces of storied provenance with those of humble origin and hanging a gallery wall with exceptional flair. That incredible skill and knowledge come into vivid focus at his vast Brooklyn apartment, set inside what was once a gritty industrial building along the Red Hook waterfront. Not even the panoramic harbor views can steal the scene from his inimitable interiors.” —Amy Astley, AD at Home

“The interior designer Robert Stilin was once based in the Hamptons, where he designed homes and furniture that came to define the enclave’s understated modern aesthetic. He views New Work, his second monograph with Vendome Press, as a chance to showcase the variety of homes he has decorated […] [a] renewed appreciation for the home as a personal sanctuary.” —Juan A. Ramirez, T MagazineSince the publication of his first book, Robert Stilin: Interiors, six years ago, demand for Robert Stilin’s work has spread far beyond his home base of New York City and the Hamptons. In this, his second book, he brings the signature elements of his aesthetic—strong, clean lines, warm, rich palette, antique and vintage furnishings, and custom upholstery, combined with modern and contemporary art—to projects all over the country. Among the 12 projects featured in this book are homes in Seattle, Montana, Connecticut, and South Florida, in addition to lofts and apartments in New York and country and beach houses in the Hamptons. Whether the architecture is traditional, rustic, or ultramodern, Stilin’s interiors exude a casual, comfortable elegance that he expertly tailors to the specific needs and taste of each client.Sustainability is integral to Vendome's publishing process.
