The Internet of Things (IoT) is an interconnection of several devices, networks, technologies, and human resources to achieve a common goal. A variety of IoT-based applications are being used in different sectors and have succeeded in providing huge benefits to the users. As a revolution, IoT overtook the entire global landscape with its presence in almost every sector, including smart cities, smart grid, intelligent transportation, healthcare, education, and so on. These two volumes constitute the selected and revised papers presented at the Second International Conference on Communication, Networks and Computing, CNC 2022, held in Gwalior, India, in December 2022. The 53 full papers were thoroughly reviewed and selected from the 152 submissions. They focus on ​the exciting new areas of wired and wireless communication systems, high-dimensional data representation and processing, networks and information security, computing techniques for efficient networks design, vehicular technology and applications and electronic circuits for communication systems that promise to make the world a better place to live in.

This book features selected high-quality research papers presented at the International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Signal Processing (MISP 2019), held at the Indian Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India, on September 7–10, 2019. The book covers the latest advances in the fields of machine learning, big data analytics, signal processing, computational learning theory, and their real-time applications. The topics covered include support vector machines (SVM) and variants like least-squares SVM (LS-SVM) and twin SVM (TWSVM), extreme learning machine (ELM), artificial neural network (ANN), and other areas in machine learning.
