In his daily cartoon for the Guardian and his long-running strip, IF, in the same paper, Steve Bell has proved that he is without equal in Britain as political cartoonist. Savage, funny, rude, constantly transgressing the rules of good taste, and of course beautifully drawn his cartoons are hated by those they lampoon and loved by everyone who likes to see authority subverted. In his new collection he covers the years of the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government, 2010-2015, fertile ground for Bell’s genius. From George Osborne in his bondage gear, the ‘Quiet Man’ zombie Ian Duncan Smith, Cable the elephant, Cameron the talking condom and Clegg the butler to Kipling and the IF penguins, every awful moment of the coalition years is re-run before your eyes … but Steve Bell style: ‘outrageous, anarchic, brilliant, sometimes inexplicable and a bit mad (not really)’ to quote John Pilger.

Terry Jones is known the world over as one of the beloved creators of the legendary Monty Python. But independent of the Python team, Jones has been writing columns targeting the Anglo-American response to September 11. His wit and venom are particularly focused on the messianic vernacular of Bush and Blair and the semantics of the "war on terror." As Jones writes, "What really alarms me about President Bush's'War on Terrorism' is the grammar. How do you wage war on an abstract noun? ... How is'Terrorism' going to surrender? It's well known, in philological circles, that it's very hard for abstract nouns to surrender." Terry Jones's War on the War on Terror proves that in times of high political anxiety, humour and irony are most potent antidotes to the spin emanating from the White House and Downing Street.

The beginning of the gospel of Jeremiah, as it is written...Since his unforeseen resurrection from the tepid ashes of the Labour Party in 2015, Jeremy Corbyn has been on a seemingly unstoppable upward trajectory. And one of Britain's best-loved political cartoonists, Steve Bell, has been with him every step of the way.In Corbyn: The Resurrection, Bell has compiled an unmissable selection of his caustically witty cartoons charting the Labour leader's ascension amid the country's best attempts to tear itself apart. From an unforgettable Star Wars pastiche depicting Jez-Bi-Wan Conorbyn's leadership saga, to Bell's savagely gleeful account of the 2017 snap election and beyond, the result is an endlessly entertaining chronicle of Corbyn's path from the 'unelectable' to 'the prime-minister-in-waiting'.

Society is made up of various cultural groups trying to live together. We aim for social cohesion, but how do we do this as society becomes increasingly complex, aided and abetted by political correctness?Steve Bell peels back the complex layers of our multi-cultural society to reveal the inner workings of our national life. Using the metaphor of a mountain range, he identifies the major obstacles to meaningful and mutually respectful interaction between Christians and Muslims and encourages intelligent Christian engagement with western culture. It seems mountains can move, but only when grace and truth are involved in all spheres of society, as fair-minded people of all faiths and none, learn to model the necessary attitude and actions.Content Benefits:- Looks at the issues of living in a multi-cultural society and asks how we can achieve social cohesion in a mutually respectful manner. - Metaphor of a mountain range allows the various obstacles in our national life to be challenged- Examines issues such as the legacy of colonialism, racism, political correctness and Christian/Muslim relations- Unpacks the idea that minority social groups are now at odds among themselves- Shows that with mutual respect in all spheres that there is a way forward to social cohesion- Encourages honest and respectful debate by learning how to 'face facts' about one another without 'fuelling fear' of one another- Will enable us to understand why we think as we do in our country, and how that insight can help bring change- Engenders mutual respect that can lead to new and constructive dialogue that facilitates change- Suitable for anyone who wants to see a more cohesive society- Helpful for anyone in leadership, whether faith based or secular- Ideal reading for students engaging in multi culturalism/ interfaith dialogue- Author is an internationally recognised communicator with forty years' experience in cross-cultural issues

Steve Bell''s If. cartoon strip in the Guardian attracted generations of loyal readers. If. Stands Up is his hilarious commentary on the past six years of political madness.Unmissable highlights include a Jubilee fly-past over Buckingham Palace by Boris Johnson''s bottom. Liz Truss taking back control of her own eyeballs. A dead-horse race between zombie ''Treeza'' May and pink-rubber fiend David Cameron, towing his bijou shepherd''s hut. Rishi Sunak flogging the skeletal remains of Margaret Thatcher. Donald Trump with a golden toilet seat brain. And Keir Starmer, aka Keeves the butler, assuring the toffs that ''the below-stairs movement is realigning its values with those of the British people''. If. Stands Up also keeps a gimlet eye on Charles and the Royals.Bell draws an unforgettable picture of a nation that has left reality behind. Why did the chlorinated chicken cross the Atlantic? Who needs hell when you have the Conservative Party? Might the Labour leadership simply be robots in disguise? In a world of war and chauvinism, Bell picks himself up and goes in search of a new source of laughs. In this, if nothing else, Westminster politics rarely disappoints. Steve Bell has distilled three decades of experience in cross-cultural communication of the Gospel to ordinary Muslim people. Gospel For Muslims asserts that all theology - including Western theology - is influenced by the culture of those who write it. Help is therefore needed to move beyond the western understanding of the Bible in order to tell Muslims the good news about Jesus in more accessible ways and enable them to believe and follow him in culturally appropriate ways - even if it means doing so from outside institutionalized Christianity.

Pollsters called it a foregone conclusion. Columnists said Theresa May’s snap general election wouldn’t just return her a thumping majority in the House of Commons – it would plunge the opposition into existential crisis. For Labour MPs, concerns about “job security” in an age of zero-hours contracts suddenly felt uncomfortably close to home. And then something happened. Momentum got to work. Grime4Corbyn gathered steam. Clicktivists were transformed into door-knocking, flag-waving activists. Soon, a familiar chant – “Oh, Jeremy Corbyn” – was reverberating around football stadiums and venues across the country. All this while Theresa turned Maybot and the Conservatives released a manifesto that looked bad for people and even worse for animals. Featuring work by many of the UK’s best-known cartoonists, including Martin Rowson, Steve Bell and Stephen Collins, The Corbyn Comic Book captures the qualities, quirks and flaws of a man whose startling rise to prominence has been the defining story of 2017. He didn’t win, but he did cause a political earthquake. Corbynmania is a thing now – and so is Comix4Corbyn.
