The story is about a 5th grade girl named Melanie who is frustrated with her baby brother because he always messes up her room when he goes in there to play from time to time. Melanie gets so mad that the entire house shakes and trembles from her anger. Not only does it feel like an earthquake where everything has fallen down, but her baby brother begins to cry! After the mess Melanie caused, she begins to stink and smell terribly! She thinks about her actions and decides to console her baby brother. After forgiveness takes place with just a look at her baby brother, she realizes she must “think before she stinks.”
