Upon waking one morning, the ladybug sisters Penelope and Priscilla are complaining about eating the same old bug mites and Momma Ladybug reinforces the "Ladybug Duty" of why they must rid the garden of the bad bug mites so that people can have nice, beautiful gardens. Their mother encourages them to use their imagination to create a feast and it would not be like eating bug mites at all. As they fly to the garden, they find that they can have an exciting, fun-filled day using their imagination. This short story will remind children that creating their own imaginary play can be lots of fun.

Tony Bologna lives in a grocery store. He is a dreamer and an adventurer. Like many of us, Tony Bologna always dreams of being somewhere else, or wants to be someone other than who he really is. He finds a way to get out of the grocery store so that he can fulfill his dream for adventure. However, Tony Bologna finds that life in the outside world and being away from his friends was not what he expected. He realizes that the place he really wants to be is the place he left behind.

If you have read my first book, The Ladybug Feast, Ralphie the fly was a character in the book. Ralphie likes to eat too many unhealthy foods and he is gaining so much weight that he is having a hard time flying. He decides that he should get healthy and lose weight by making some changes in his life style because he wants to make a good impression on someone very special. Ralphie gets some good advice from a very unusual character!

The Biddle family lives in a rabbit habitat deep in the forest. A warehouse nearby is storing hazardous waste in barrels that are beginning to leak. The area around their habitat is becoming very dangerous. Bunny Joshua Biddle decides to go exploring and gets himself into a little trouble! The neighbors rescue him and realize they need to take action in order to protect their children.This short story should start a conversation between parents and children, discussing the environmental mishaps from the past, the present, and the future.

When she became of age, Cassandra, who has been her caregiver since she was an infant, explained to her what her responsibilities were in order to bring back happiness, hope, and prosperity to her people. The Princess realized that it would prove to be harder than she anticipated.
